Megazord Heartbreak

Luigi has a Megazord. That’s the robot from Power Rangers. Halos iniyakan niya yun before we bought it for him, pero we could really see that he was longing for it. He solicited pledges from everyone here. That was August 2004.

He really likes that toy. Once in a while he takes it out of its box to play with it. For a few days now, he has been playing with it again.

This afternoon, while he was assembling it again, he broke a part. He went to Daddy to have it fixed. But it turns out that it was a crucial part (a hinge) needed to put together the arm of the robot.

Luigi was SO heartbroken. He was crying sooo hard! Humahagulgol talaga! Akala mo namatayan sa grabe ng iyak niya. He was truly so distressed, and he was sobbing for about 15 minutes. Even Miko had tears just watching him. I tell you, it was painful to see him like that.

It’s his very favorite toy. Even after he had new toys that he liked, he always comes back to playing with his Megazord. And now, he knows that it’s never gonna be the same again.
