Filipino Please

Sometimes during dinner, we make it a rule to speak in Filipino while eating. Times like these, Luigi tends to be quiet. Si Miko madaldal pa rin.

Kanina, after Luigi was done with his meal, he turned to me and in all seriousness said

“Peeya, meron po ba tayong dessert?”

I told him that even in Filipino, he should still call me Mommy.

Si Miko naman, hindi pa tapos kumain, sabi

“May I be excused?”

“Filipino, anak.”

“Umm… Pwede po bang umihi?”
