The Hero
Tomorrow, Monday Nov. 28,is a non-working holiday in the Philippines. The government exchanged the commemoration of Bonifacio Day from Nov. 30, which is a Wednesday, to Nov. 28, para maging long weekend (good call).
We asked the kids if they knew why they didn’t have classes tomorrow. They did, but Miko doesn’t know who Andres Bonifacio is.
Luigi: “He’s a hero.”
Miko: “Why? Did he save the day? Was he wearing a cape?”
LOL!!! Ang kulet! Superhero lang ang may cape SuperMiko! I miss you. I have a surprise for you. And Kuya. And Mommy. And Daddy. 😉
Once again, Miko saves the day by making Ninang Tricia laugh. Ikaw ang hero Miko, because you have a cape.
Hindi ba alam ni Miko? si Andres, atapang atao yan.
Ay si Andres… Miko’s full name was supposed to be Miguel Andres, but we decided against it kasi nga it was prone to teasing… andres de saya, andres me… sayang. I really like that name!… btw, malapit na silang mag ‘ataga a uten’!
