Monoploy- Microcosm of Real Life

I.
We brought the Monopoly to D.A. (Don Antonio) today. We played a fun game: Luigi, me, lola, and tita Ella. Miko was tita Ella’s partner.

Itong si lola, aba, magnate! She hoarded almost all the properties! I went bankrupt, and surrendered all my properties to her! When Miko realized that she had a lot of money, he started making subtle hints that he wanted to move to her. Then after a while, tinanong na siya ni lola, and he said yes.

We were laughing so hard.

Yung papa ni ella, lumipat na sa mas matandang madatung!

II.
“Mahirap maglaro kalaban ang pamangkin!”

Tita Ella realized this. When Luigi has to pay her rent at her Boardwalk property with 2 houses, he was already short of cash by $300. So tita Ella ended up buying his ‘Get out of jail for free’ card (normally worth less than $50) for $300!

III.
Turns out, on our first game, we were playing it wrong! We didn’t follow the rules, we made a lot of shortcuts, we were paying when we shouldn’t be…. So i think my title should be Monopoly: Microcosm of Life in the Philippines.
