Last Dec. 19, Centro Montessori organized a tiangge for the kids. Those who wish to sell have to rent their spaces for P20. They can make posters, but these have to be “pre-approved” by the board. They have to indicate beforehand what they’re selling – food, drinks, gift items, etc. We made Santa Clause choco…
Luigi has a Megazord. That’s the robot from Power Rangers. Halos iniyakan niya yun before we bought it for him, pero we could really see that he was longing for it. He solicited pledges from everyone here. That was August 2004. He really likes that toy. Once in a while he takes it out of…
Finally, after how many weeks of waiting, Miko’s loose tooth fell off today. Tuwang tuwa siya! We were expecting it yesterday, kasi super luwag na. Sabi namin, if by tonight it doesn’t fall off, we’re gonna tie it to the door and close the door para matanggal na. Promise naman it won’t hurt (totoo). Kasi…
Last weekend, the kids bought new playstation CDs. Miko got a wrestling game. He was playing it everytime he had the chance (alternating with Battle B-Daman). I guess, nansawa rin… Yesterday, after school, sabi niya: “Daddy i don’t like my wrestling CD anymore. But Julian likes it. I’ll just sell it to him.”
Luigi asked us a question this evening. Any answer we give will surely taint a child’s rose colored world. “Why do some people want to be bad to me when I’m kind to them?”

The government exchanged the commemoration of Bonifacio Day from Nov. 30, which is a Wednesday, to Nov. 28, para maging long weekend (good call). We asked the kids if they knew why they didn’t have classes tomorrow. They did, but Miko doesn’t know who Andres…

We now have three Battle B-Daman (Damen ?) toys… one for each boy, including Daddy opkors. We went to Shangri-la to watch the tournament. Tuwang tuwa ang dalawang bugoy,…
The kids chanced upon a rerun of the Power Rangers Wild Force on Cartoon Network. They also have a VCD of the finale of this season. After watching, Miko said “The Princess looks different here.” “Why?” “Because in the VCD she has lipstick.”
Such a funny name: BATTLE B-DAMAN… Ilang weeks na naming pinagtatawanan ni Dan. Sounds like a gibberish version of ‘That’ll be the day’… Battle B-Daman is a new cartoon series in Cartoon Network, much like the style of Bey Blades and Crush Gear. This robot fires it’s B-daballs to their opponents. These B-daballs are actually…
Lolo, Lola and Tita Ella are leaving tomorrow, going to the States. They will be spending Christmas and New Year there. But their primary purpose is to attend the graduation of Tita Mel, who now has a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Arizona State University. Congrats Dr. Mel. (Btw, we now have…
