Miko’s magically vanishing tummyache

This morning, Miko had a painful tummy. Humihilab, LBM. So daddy said, maybe he’d like to stay home for the day. Miko’s answer is of course, OK.

Stay home? Naah. He went with me to St. Joseph. Syempre, tuwa naman si lola. He got additional piano lessons, and he also got to play for the other kids. Sabi ni lola sa students, “You listen to Miko, and you’ll see for yourself that you can do it if you only practice your pieces.” So tugtog naman ng Havah Nagilah si Miko. Parent modesty aside, magaling naman talaga siya. Amazing to watch him play the piano!

So nung malapit na mag-lunch, we were saying to him that we can’t eat at KFC, because he has painful tummy.

“No, it’s ok na. Let’s eat at KFC na.” Well, we knew this would be his answer. So ayun, naka-jackpot si Miko!

It was nice being with him in the piano department again. We missed him so much.
