Toys clean-up time again…

This morning we packed away the accumulation of toys that have been left everywhere in the space of 2 months. This is a tedious job, all the more so because of the ever-generous grandparents, titos and titas that Luigi and Miko have. (Thanks guys)

Whenever I do this, I always make sure that Luigi is nearby to help me. Apart from helping by doing the rounds for me (put this there, and this one here), his memory is my best aid. I find an arm of an action figure, and he tells me to whom it belongs. A small weapon, he knows where it came from. Minsan nga, he told me, “It’s from the red and black car that ninong Jojo gave me for Christmas when I was 4 years old, remember?”

…………………. (** “Miko where does this belong?”… “Ummm, let’s ask kuya.”**)

He knows if a toy belongs in daddy’s glass cabinet, where Dan puts all expensive toys, and they cannot get anything there without our permission, pero syempre pagbabalik, or lack thereof, nakakatakas.

And si Miko? Well, he helps also, but for a short period only. And most of the time, he sees something and he definitely wants to play with it again, and so that toy ends up in another floor of the house…
