Despedida Party

Lolo, Lola and Tita Ella are leaving tomorrow, going to the States. They will be spending Christmas and New Year there. But their primary purpose is to attend the graduation of Tita Mel, who now has a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Arizona State University. Congrats Dr. Mel. (Btw, we now have two Dr. Mels in my family- Dr. Tita Mel, from Arizona, and Dr. Mel, my cousin who’s in Nevada.)

We had lunch today in DA (that’s short for Don Antonio). The family of Tita Celeste threw a despedida party for the viajeros. Even Owa was there.

So it’s gonna be a quiet Christmas for us here. BUT… the boys are already envisioning a happy start of the new year full of halukay of pasalubongs… yehey!
